  1. Brian

I’ve had several Isurus suits over the years, pretty much since they started.

While I could buy other brands at a lower price, I live by this simple adage; Buy Nice or Buy Twice.

They look and feel wonderful and they last if well taken care of. I will only consider an Isurus to cover me.

Excelentes WetSuits. Nacido en Costa Rica y Viviendo en Encinitas, CA uno no entiende wetsuits apenas viene a este pais. Despues de haber intentado varias marcas por 15 años de reconocido nombre. Me quedo 100% con Isurus. Adquiri el Elite 222, Evade 3.2 and Evade 4.3. Los tres son super flexibles, especialmente en el area de los hombros y piernas y te mantiene sin frio. Todavia estan en buena condicion.Love it! Best Suits Ever

  3. Michael (verified owner)

reviews dont lie. Fantastic suit across all dimensions of fit, flexibility, warmth, durability.. The 232 is the best suit I have ever owned- not even close. Zero hesitation to recommend it. Feel like i have been selling it in the lineup. Love it.

I’ve been surfing in my old I-elite 232, which has lasted me quite a few years now in Southern California. I just received the newest 232 and surfed in it a few times. The wetsuit is amazing. The fit and feel is completely different. It feels significantly thinner, lighter, and keeps me warmer. I have a 222 and 333 from Matuse to fill the void, but there really is no comparison to the newest 232 from you guys. Thank you for making a fantastic wetsuit! When finance permits, I will definitely be wearing only Isurus from now on!

    Aloha,
    Cale

I don’t usually use 3/2s this late into winter. But the suit is an exception. I’ll start off with how silky the rubber is, I can’t imagine anything feeling higher quality. The other remarkable feeling is how it fits. How it molds to you. At first it feels snug and then after about two or three sessions all the parts that you want to move get stretchy and ease up, but not loose. The parts that you want to stay tight and not balloon up stay snug and don’t let a bunch extra water move around. I think there’s something to that compression fitting design with the combination of superflexible and structure. With the combination of the way it fits and the way the materials feels just makes me stoked to put on a wetsuit. Not to mention it doesn’t hold any water and dries super quickly. You could have a session in the morning and by your afternoon session your suit is dry without having to stick it in the sun. Sizing and fit is good I’m 6 foot three and 210 pounds I wear an XL. Thanks Isurus, you guys rock! I’m gonna go get in the water.

  7. chris (verified owner)

this suit is the best wetsuits i have worn to this day! apart from the fact that it is well manufactured, it offers truly effortless paddling and a freedom of movement that is beyond comparison. it is super light and dries in a breeze after use.
i have to mention the absolutely outstanding customer service as well! being from the canary islands they sent me two suits to try on,since we were unsure about the right size, and i returned the one that didn’t fit without any extra cost.
    thumbs up!!!

  8. Jonker

I’ve recently purchased a 232 and have been using it since. The wetsuit has been a revelation. I own a new (latest tech) O’Neill 232 and there’s just no comparison. The Isurus beats it hands down any day of the week. It feels like you’re not really wearing a wetsuit due to it being so nonrestrictive compared to any other wetsuit I’ve owned (except that you’re nice and warm – again compared to other wetsuits). I’ve always despised wearing wetsuits. I only did so out of necessity and would brave a bit of cold by switching to a thinner suit or going suit-less whenever I can. They just didn’t make sense except that they’re meant to keep you warm. They’re cumbersome, restrictive and get heavy. That all changed with the 232 from Isurus. I actually enjoy wearing it and that’s saying a lot. It’s the first wetsuit I’ve owned that actually makes sense. Instead of working against you it actually supports and sustains you (hard to explain but it’s like with the Isurus during a session fatigue will set in more slowly and gradually whereas with other suits it will happen suddenly and way earlier). It doesn’t soak up water and get heavy, it’s a dream to paddle in and it’s super warm. Also, it’s way easier to get in and out of when it’s wet. The fit has been great from day one. No issues whatsoever. I’m updating all my wetsuits to Isurus and just ordered a 222 short arm full suit and a jacket for the summer. I won’t own another brand wetsuit again, ever. Thanks Isurus for making wetsuits that actually make sense.

  9. Joe H

This is the best wetsuit I have ever owned, it’s warmer and lighter than any other wetsuit on the market. The 232 full is perfect for all Winter surfing in Southern California. I’ll be getting the 222 short arm for Spring. Nothing compares to Isurus wetsuits!!

  10. Jon Faure

I have been using this suit for 4 years now. Being in the surf business, I have had the opportunity to try a ton of different wetsuits and this one is by far my favorite. Superior warmth and flexibility. Super light weight even when wet and in my opinion, they are the fasted drying wetsuit on the market.

  11. Edward

About to go pick up my second 232 today. After 2 years, my original is finally ready to be replaced—though some glue will keep it in rotation. I also have an Isurus 4/3 and the their top. Bottom line, best suits in the water. I’ve had Oneil, Patagucci, and RipCurl over the years. Nothing comes close to the quality, warmth, fit, and comfort of an Isurus wettie. I also love how fast they dry, which means I don’t have to crawl into a cold, wet suit during the winter dawn patrol sessions.

  12. Joe Rowan

The 232 alpha elite suit is my work horse, perfect for Ventura county waters 95 percent of the time. i think of it like a full body compression suit. I really feel it gives a big advantage,I still surf the same equipment i did when i was a young buck. I surf any board i want at 59 and its so much lighter and warmer than any suit I’ve ever worn, drys super quickly too.

  13. Joe Rowan

We Absolutely dig our Isurus wetsuits. We’re a surfing family and all ride Isurus. I’m super stoked on the compression technology it makes a huge difference for me between other suits I’ve worn. I go back and forth from prone surfing and stand paddle surfing. I’ve been using the 222 zipless this fall so cool! 0 complaints perfect for stand up paddle surfing and surfing as well and for a all 2 mil it’s way warm. I have all the suits and surf in all conditions and I definitely have more endurance plus the warmth of the suits makes for much longer sessions. 5 star suit for sure and Customer Service is A plus. Nice work Isurus.

  14. Ami Feinstein

I have been using Isurus for the last 3 Years, 2X Elite 232, Elite 222, Aegis 222 and the hood, love those products!!. Two weeks ago been at Portugal (Ericeira), I took with me 2 sets of Elite 232 (want dry suit for any session), one of the local instructors asked to test it (it’s a 3 Years old suit), After a few minutes he told me he confiscates it – claiming – “it’s the best suit I used ever !!”, … Well, I’ve been reciting it for a long time … The suit is light, warm and feels like a second skin – really a must!

  15. Rick DeJianne

Best 3/2 I’ve ever owned. The neoprene is so soft and stretchy that I notice no resistance while paddling. The suit absorbs almost no water at all making me noticeably lighter weight than I feel when wearing other suits that suck water up like a sponge. Besides being lighter weight and more flexible than other suits I’ve tried, it also keeps me warmer than those other suits. I’ve got 3 Isurus suits now and I’m about to buy my 4th.

  16. Zach Rash

Best wetsuits on the market!. They are incredibly comfortable, warm, and flexible. It’s amazing to be able to wear a thinner suit but still stay as warm as in a thicker suit. Also, the closed-cell neoprene helps it dry immediately! Your suit will never be wet, which is nice if you’re surfing multiple times a day. Cannot recommend these suits enough.

  17. Jeremy Handysides

Best fullsuit I’ve ever used! I’ve been surfing for 30 years and run surf clinics/surf very regularly. This suit is super flexible, very comfortable, and works perfect for fall/winter surfs in SoCal. I’ve tried every brand of wetsuit and Isurus is the best for sure! I highly recommend!

  18. Logan Kamen

I have been using the 232 Alpha Elite the past few weeks and the results have been amazing. I surf on the east coast all year round. The wetsuit has been super flexible and easy to surf in. I feel that my surfing is improving faster because I have a wetsuit that can stretch and move so well. The Alpha Elite is super light weight and dries very quickly. Also easily the warmest 232 I’ve ever used.

  19. Arthur

O man! This product changed my life! I dont why i used standard neoprene till then!
    The warmth- amazing
    Durablity- outstanding
Weight- this where the change comes for me, this wetsuit when wet is lighter up to 8 pounds the the rest of the market! This means i stay longer in the water due to lesser energy loss but the most important is performence! Im just lighter which allows me to turn almost as if i didnt have a wetsuit! Winter time means change in quiver, well not with isurus! Thank for making my water life better!!

  20. Phil K

I’ve had suits from Matuse, 9, O’Neil, Ripcurl and West and hands down this is the best suit I’ve owned. They fit tight at first but start to mold to your body shape because of superior neoprene they use and the compression technology. You’ll find they’re warmer and cause less fatigue than other suits out there so you can stay out longer! Get one, you won’t regret it, worth every penny!

  21. Leif

This suit is extremely warm are use it in New York in the beginning of spring when everyone else is still in five mm. You stay super dry and it is extremely flexible you can drop pretty much a millimetre In thinkness with this suit I love it

  22. michael mark

This is the best westsuit I have ever owned in 40 plus years of surfing. I have used Ripcurl, Quicksilver, Excel, O’Neil and several others, and the Isurus 232 blows them all away in terms of flexibility, warmth, fit, and comfort. This wetsuit pretty much slides on and off and provides exactly what I want and need for warmth and paddle comfort. Again, by far the best wetsuit I have ever owned and well worth the price. It doesn’t sag, bag or leak. I will never wear own another brand of wetsuit. This is by far the best. In 57 degree water I thought I would be cold in it, but I was almost too warm. This suit is amazing!

  23. Luke Manke

I purchased the Alpha Elite 232 back in January ’17 and surfed it all winter in Ventura, CA. Like other reviewers have stated, when the water is 56-58 and cold/windy, as long as you have a hood on and booties, I stayed warm enough. Really like how smooth the neoprene is and very flexible. The wetsuit is really light weight as well. I did have an issue with one of my knee padding coming undone/tearing right near the seam, but Isurus stood behind their product and sent me a replacement suit. Very happy with their product and especially the customer service. I also purchased the Elite 222 SAF model but haven’t used it yet as it’s not quite warm enough. I’ll post back once I use that suit a few times.

  24. Zach Lana

I really like the Isurus brand. Their suits are insane! I’m on my second isurus 232 and I couldn’t imagine getting another suit. It’s incredibly light and flexible but also kept me warm all winter in southern California. I convinced my friends to get suits too and all of them are stoked on the wetsuits!

  25. matthew dimedio

I am very happy with the 232 suit. First of all the cut and sizing of these suit is top notch. No matter how good a suits technology can be if the suit doesn’t fit appropriately then it defeats the purpose of spending the extra money. The suit is very flexible and warm. I have noticed that the suit is most warm in sessions with lots of paddling. In the winter when I would normally wear a 4/3, this suit performs just as good for warmth as long as you’re staying active. I only break out the thicker suit for when I know its going to be long waits during the sessions and my body heat isn’t continuously regenerating. Overall the elite and alpha series are the best suits I have ever used and I look forward to sliding into them before each surf!

  26. Bret Thomson

This is my 3rd Isurus 232. Perfect suit for Southern California winters. My favorite aspect is the “anatomic fit”- it fits like a glove. No water intrusion. Great flexibility and warmth. I also like that they’re a small business making great products. Keep up the good work!

  27. Scott Stinson

I just got out of the water (high 50’s) and my new 232 Isurus wetsuit is a dream. It is very flexible/comfortable, with no chafe spots at all. Also seals well and keeps me exceptionally warm. I think this is one of the best suits on the market (as verified by Navy SEAL evaluation).

  28. Jason

I have been using the Alpha Elite 232 front zip for about 3 months during winter with water temps around 56-59. It has been an excellent suit with the perfect balance of warmth and flexibility. I was skeptical going from a suit with 3mm arms to 2mm arms, but I notice a big difference when paddling and my arms fatigue less allowing for longer winter sessions. The extra 1mm in the arms is not really necessary if you are paddling most the time. The 3mm arms are better if you are sitting 20 mins or more between waves. I also notice the construction of the arm and shoulder panels result in less restriction when paddling which again prevents muscle fatigue so I can paddle and surf longer. The Yamamoto neoprene is top notch, since it does not suck up water like traditional neoprene you feel slightly lighter and quicker, which can sometimes be the difference on a wave. Highly recommended wetsuit.

  29. Andrew

Dealing with repairs and warranty on brand new suits and being put out of the water I purchased my 1st Isurus Alpha Elite 232. This suit is ultra light in and out of the water with no saturation. The compression technology prevents water inside keeping you warmer also this suit is so flexible and non restrictive! I have been using this for my winter suit and is very warm. Excellent design, craftsmanship and materials! Other suits a distant memory!
    Thank you Isurus

  30. Deva Kane

I am an everyday surfer, and I like have the lightest amount of rubber on me at all times, while still getting the warmth that will allow me to stay in the water. The Alpha Elite 2/3/2 is my absolute favorite wetsuit I have ever owned. I got it last summer expecting it to be my summer suit. I live in Santa Cruz, Ca and the water temps can get pretty cold. Especially when driving up and down the coast for waves. The 2/3/2 really surprised me because it became my everyday go through wetsuit all winter. I even had a thinker wetsuit as a back up, but the 2/3/2 handled every condition with ease. My friends would be suiting up in thick 5mm wetsuits with hoods and I swear I came in from the water just as warm if not warmer than all of them. Best wetsuit ever! 2/3/2 is the everyday go to. Lightweight, flexible, drys fast, so warm you would think you are in a 5 mil.

  31. Cristiano Guimaraes

I bought a 232 Alpha Evade to go to southern Chile on november 2016. It’s amazing how 232 is way better than any 4/3 of any major brand. I used to get out from the water after sunset, the water was around 11 Celsius degrees, the weather on land like 14, and it seems to get more Comfortable and warmer the more I stayed in the water. Isurus blew my mind and i’m recommending it to all my friends.

  32. Brandon G

This is my second Isurus 3/2 wetsuit and by far the best wetsuit I have ever owned.

I got it to have a second suit in rotation for an upcoming Peru trip, since my 3 year old Isurus is still going strong I figured this suit would complement it perfectly.

The Alpha Elite suit is taped perfectly to offer extreme mobility while providing incredible warmth, it may be as warm if not warmer than my 1 year old 4/3.

I have owned almost every brand wetsuit from small premium to major brand and this suit tops them all, I won’t buy anything but Isurus anymore.

  33. Dante Madrigal

This is my all time favorite suit in my quiver… I have a few and after a few surfs in a new one it barely feels like you’re wearing a wetsuit. The formfitting technology is amazing and, living in SoCal, I still have yet to throw on one of my 434’s due to the warmth of this one. Yew!

  34. matt m

got a 232 front zip and this suit is the best fitting suit i have ever had. i have had suits from billabong, quik, rip curl, oneill and hurley. The isurus compression feels like it is molded for your body and keeps you warmer than most. It feels like there is very little water leakage and as someone who hates cold water it has enabled me to surf more comfortably in winter.

a friend saw mine and went and bought the same one and loves it as well.

  35. jani Lange

!st ISURUS suit and i am STOKED

My XS Alpha Elite 232 Unhooded, fits great and is SUPER WARM!

the folks at the company are helpful and great to work with

Go out and tell your local shop that they NEED to be carrying ISURUS suits!!!

  36. J. Rosen

1st Isurus and there is no turning back.

I have owned the top of line oneill and ripcurls, psycho and flashbomb – respectively, and the Isurus is far superior. The rubber is butter, light, and quick drying. The 232 has worked perfect for winter dawn patrol sessions in SoCal.

I’m a bigger guy (6’2″ 220) – XXL was a perfect fit. A little tight in shoulder, at first, but molded to my frame after a session or two.

  37. Brandon (verified owner)

This is my third Isurus and I can’t imagine ever wearing another wetsuit.

The 232 is perfect for SoCal winters. All Isurus fit a little tight when you first get them, but they mold to your body quickly. In my opinion this is the lightest, warmest and most comfortable 3/2 wetsuit on the market.

  38. B. Robertson

I just bought my second 2/3/2 and I still use my first one that I bought about 3 years ago. These suits are worth every penny that they cost. Not only are they state of the art, but they are also built to last. Take care of the suit and it will take good care of you.
