Surfing in the blood

Having a professional surfer as a parent is no guarantee that you'll inherit the skills and attitude to make it yourself, but John Mel is following in the footsteps of his dad, Peter!  As a goofy footer he prefers going left when surfing Mavericks, but both of the Mels charge hard when Mavs goes off.

These two edits show John's high performance surfing in smaller waves, and we can't wait to see how far he can push it in all conditions.
